Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the use of all AquaTerra services. This product is provided to you by AquaTerra LLC. Terms such as “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to AquaTerra LLC and associated services. Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time, but users will be welcome to delete their account if they do not agree with the updated terms. If you decide to delete your account, your data will be deleted as well. We do not sell or share your data at any time. You must read and agree to these Terms and Conditions to use our services, and by using our services you have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
AquaTerra charges a small monthly fee of $1.99 to provide our service free of ads and spam. We will never use your personal data to tailor your experience. You may tailor your own experience by changing your interests or other settings.
For AquaTerra to be a safe space for everyone, you must use your given name and accurate profile information. You should create only one account and do not share the password with anyone else. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Catfishing and spam accounts will be terminated, and users will be permanently banned. Accounts that promote racism, hate crimes, pornography, harassment, riots, graphic violence, or bigotry, will be terminated. Convicted sex offenders, users under the age of 18, and users who have been previously banned due to violations of the Terms and Conditions, will not be allowed to use AquaTerra. By using AquaTerra, users authorize AquaTerra to use public records to conduct sex offender register searches.
By using AquaTerra, you agree not to do any of the following while using the app:
-Anything fraudulent, misleading, illegal, or generally spammy.
-Abuse the employees by falsely (or repeatedly) reporting other users without reason.
-Abuse the app by uploading malicious code.
In conjunction, if someone breaks the rules and is not immediately reported or caught, AquaTerra is not liable. We hope that everyone will use this app for its intended purpose, but we cannot guarantee each individual user’s safety. Use proper judgement and have your initial meetups in a public location. You are responsible for your interactions with other users. Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
AquaTerra does not endorse or support any statements made by individual users. Users may not use any part of AquaTerra for commercial purposes, nor may users reproduce copyrighted material or proprietary property. Users may not access or attempt to access AquaTerra data using automated means.
Any disputes will be individually arbitrated in a Virginia, USA court. By using AquaTerra, you waive all rights to a jury trial, litigation in court, or a class action, in the event of a dispute.
Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to all the services owned by AquaTerra LLC, such as website, application, etc. (called “services”). Our privacy policy describes the ways we may use your data and why it is necessary. Terms such as “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to AquaTerra LLC and associated services.
Your privacy matters to us more than anything else. We must collect some basic information to help you match with people in your area. This includes things like your email address, birthday, interests, gender, etc., and will be referred to as “personal information” through the rest of this document. We need access to your camera/photo gallery when you upload a profile picture or send photos to other users. For the services to function properly, we also need your location. All this data is collected for the sole purpose of providing our service to you.
Information we collect may come from you or a third party. When registering, personal information must be collected to create an account. This could include payment information during processing subscription payments. This could also include other data you have chosen to share with us. Your information may also be included in data collection from third parties in order to see how well our marketing campaigns, etc. are working.
Our primary goal for data collection is to make your experience with AquaTerra as seamless as possible. We never sell it or use it for erroneous purposes. Technical reports and usage statistics allow us to improve existing features (and add new ones as requested) and are frequently anonymized during the process. This information also allows us to help resolve any user disputes and provide assistance to local and legal law enforcement if required by law.
AquaTerra is based in the United States but is offered globally. Your personal information may be stored on servers located outside of your home country. If your country has data protection laws, your personal information may not be subject to the same safety. In that, you should assume that any personal information that you make public within the app could be made public outside the app by other users. You can request that your personal information be deleted at any time outside of what we must keep for legitimate businesses purposes. Deleting your account and/or personal information does not ensure that it is gone, as other users may retain information you have given them. AquaTerra has no control over this and therefore will not accept liability. We absolutely reserve the right to delete accounts if there is any abusive or objectionable behavior or content.
